Requirements
- Experience with German policies and regulations
- Knowledge of German and European employment law
- Experience handling employee relations cases
- Skill in conducting confidential investigations
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience supporting organisational change
- Proficiency in English
- High integrity and discretion
Tasks
- Advise on and implement HR and health and safety policies
- Manage grievances, disputes, and workplace investigations
- Liaise with unions, works councils, and employee representatives
- Guide restructuring and change management processes
- Identify and mitigate HR process compliance risks
- Ensure adherence to employment laws and company standards
- Collaborate with legal advisors and data privacy officers
- Train staff on conflict resolution and workplace ethics
- Analyze employee relations trends and prepare management reports
- Maintain confidential records of cases and actions
- Support HR compliance reviews and audits
- Communicate effectively with employees and management
- Build trust and credibility with staff and leadership
- Mediate and resolve conflicts fairly and promptly
- Promote a culture of respect and inclusion
