- Master's degree in Aeronautical, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or similar
- Strong understanding of electrical and physical principles
- Analytical capability and curiosity for electrical engineering

- Solid understanding of Aircraft Certification Process
- Negotiation-level English
- Negotiation-level German
- French language skills (plus)
- Security clearance eligibility

Tasks
- Ensure platform protection against Lightning Induced Effects (LIE), High-Intensity Radiated Fields (HIRF), and Electromagnetic Environmental Effects
- Define and implement EMH requirements for new and modified systems
- Identify applicable certification requirements
- Analyze aircraft system architectures for EMH protection
- Manage activities within the certification process
- Define work scope for EMH activities
- Assign tasks to internal and external partners
- Steer engineering workflows
- Interface with Airbus Engineering departments and divisions
- Collaborate with Airbus Defence and Space
- Ensure design of safe, mature, and robust systems across all ATA chapters and programs
- Continuously improve electromagnetic requirements for system qualification
- Serve as reference specialist for system design teams
- Validate design compliance with airworthiness regulations
- Lead advanced studies to address program requests and in-service problems
- Create laboratory, ground, and flight test requests
- Analyze and conclude flight tests
- Lead certification processes
- Create certification plans and summaries
- Answer certification review items with dedicated reports and summaries
