- •Familiarity with device drivers and firmware
- •Experience with black and white box testing
- •Understanding of verification vs. validation
- •Experience with test automation
- •Knowledge of various software testing types
- •Experience with SIL, HIL, and system testing
- •Deep understanding of IEC 62304 processes
- •Experience verifying risk control measures
- •Understanding of ISO 13485 requirements
- •Familiarity with FDA 21 CFR or EU MDR
- •Experience supporting internal and external audits
- •Proficiency in Git and Gitlab
- •Knowledge of real time operating systems
- •Exposure to medical device cybersecurity
- •Desire for creative team environment
- •Ability to work independently
- •Experience in specifying software
- •Strong documentation and writing skills
- •Fluency in English and German skills

- •Plan and execute software verification
- •Perform unit, integration, and system-level software testing
- •Derive test cases from software requirements and architecture
- •Verify software risk control measures for ISO 14971
- •Ensure bidirectional software item traceability
- •Participate in design reviews and documentation audits
- •Support change impact analysis and regression testing
