Requirements
- Deep experience running SaaS operations
- Ensuring uptime, reliability, and strong customer SLAs
- Understanding of CI/CD systems end-to-end
- Knowledge of runtime reliability
- Knowledge of policy-as-code
- Knowledge of secure pipeline design
- Confidence leading high-severity incidents
- Coordinating incident response
- Clear communication with stakeholders and customers
- Building repeatable, auditable processes
- Experience with release processes
- Experience with on-call processes
- Experience with operational workflows
- Experience managing external partners
- Holding partners accountable to SLAs and KPIs
- Experience growing teams
- Experience leading teams across CloudOps, DevSecOps, and release engineering
Tasks
- Take full responsibility for customer-facing SaaS operations
- Manage SLAs, runbooks, and incident management for critical issues
- Ensure high availability and reliability of CI/CD pipelines
- Enforce policy-as-code and maintain secure, scalable delivery workflows
- Own packaging and release engineering for SaaS and on-prem components
- Orchestrate, validate, and implement rollback strategies
- Oversee subcontracted operations partners
- Ensure performance against contractual KPIs
- Drive continuous improvement with vendors
- Establish and scale CloudOps, DevSecOps, Release Engineering, and QA practices
- Set up on-call structures and readiness
- Maintain SOC2/ISO readiness for operational controls
- Ensure audit evidence is complete and reliable
- Work closely with Platform Engineering and product teams
- Define release gates for safe, repeatable deployments
- Reduce MTTR and increase release success rates
- Ensure consistent pipeline and service availability
