- Ownership of Positioning and messaging, sales enablement & GTM strategy
- Experience with PLG or self-serve motions (strong plus) & customer marketing / expansion
- Deep customer empathy and curiosity
- Strong strategic thinking and storytelling ability
- Ability to simplify complex products into clear value
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
- High ownership and accountability for business outcomes
- Experience in multi-region GTM environments
- Experience with SMB + Mid-Market segmentation
- Familiarity with lifecycle marketing and funnel dynamics
Tasks
- Define Ideal Customer Profiles and buyer personas
- Refine pain/gain frameworks by segment
- Ensure shared customer understanding across GTM teams
- Define and evolve core value proposition
- Develop product positioning and competitive differentiation
- Create compelling narratives by segment
- Translate product features into business value
- Ensure messaging consistency across all channels
- Develop enablement content and frameworks
- Create pitch narratives and talk tracks
- Develop objection handling frameworks
- Create competitive battlecards
- Develop value-based selling frameworks
- Translate enablement content into structured programs
- Ensure consistent rollout and adoption of enablement
- Own direct conversion strategy for small SMBs
- Define value proposition for self-serve users
- Develop messaging and packaging for PLG motion
- Define key conversion flows on website
- Optimize website to signup to activation funnel
- Optimize free-to-paid conversion efficiency
- Optimize self-serve funnel efficiency
- Define customer segmentation and targeting
- Develop expansion messaging for upsell/cross-sell
- Create retention and engagement narratives
- Partner with Demand Gen, GTM Ops, and CS
- Maximize Net Revenue Retention (NRR)
- Activate existing customers for growth
- Build strong customer advocacy and references
- Ensure campaigns are grounded in strong messaging
- Improve conversion across the funnel with Demand Gen
- Translate positioning into scalable narratives with Brand
- Ensure consistency across all external communication
- Own go-to-market for new features
- Own go-to-market for major releases
- Own go-to-market for strategic initiatives
- Define target segments for launches
- Define messaging for launches
- Define launch plans
- Align sales and marketing for launches
- Lead customer research initiatives
- Conduct win/loss analysis
