- Lighting background with high technical understanding
- Sales leadership experience in lighting industry, including solutions selling
- Network within Lighting industry, respected as market expert
- Consultant and Integrator network in EMEA
- Extensive industry and P&L experience bringing innovative solutions to market
- Strong business acumen; analytical and number-driven decision making
- Excellent technical and commercial understanding
- Substantial executive level sales experience in appropriate customer bases
- Demonstrated track record of growth, developing and executing roadmap
- Excellent negotiation skills, proven track record of winning new business
- Proven track record of increasing revenue through lead generation
- Customer focus and solutions selling, exceptional service and quality
- Strong strategic sales executive understanding customer needs and selling solutions
- Strong technical focus supporting channel management and business development
- Demonstrated ability to prospect, present to clients, and close large deals
- Ability to understand business requirements and articulate advanced solutions and technology
- Willingness to travel 60%+ of the time
- Willingness to work in UK or Europe office and right to live and work
Tasks
- Lead EMEA sales for Martin Lighting
- Execute 5-year sales plan aligned with market trends
- Manage full P&L responsibility for EMEA Lighting
- Drive demand through Harman distributor network
- Expand Martin’s market presence and brand strength
- Develop and launch new products in EMEA markets
- Analyze EMEA professional lighting market trends
- Inform product development with regional insights
- Define and manage distribution strategy
- Monitor distributor performance with KPIs
- Generate and manage sales pipeline
- Ensure accurate forecasting and deal execution
- Build relationships with senior customers and partners
- Identify and articulate value propositions
- Close long-term, sustainable business deals
- Coach and develop sales team
- Oversee strategic and operational sales activities
- Represent Martin at key industry events
- Support channel managers with solution selling
- Continuously assess portfolio performance
- Identify and address market risks and opportunities
- Report to leadership on commercial challenges
- Advise on business change initiatives
- Ensure best-in-class customer support
- Perform additional duties as required
