Requirements

  • Experience in defence, aerospace, or government partnerships
  • Understanding of satellite technology, mission architectures, and Earth observation platforms
  • Proven track record in large, multi-stakeholder contracts
  • Understanding of government sales processes, primes, and consortium dynamics
  • Autonomy and ability to drive outcomes in uncharted environments
  • Technical competency in data interpretation and analysis for remote sensing or defence intelligence
  • Excellent communication skills with board-level credibility
  • Fluency in English; German strongly preferred
  • Citizenship of a NATO member state for security clearance
  • Based in Germany (Munich or Berlin preferred) with frequent travel
  • Background in Earth Observation, ISR, or remote sensing
  • Experience with European institutions (ESA, DLR, CNES, EDF, etc.)
  • Existing network in defence, aerospace, or national government circles

Work Experience

approx. 1 - 4 years

Tasks

  • Own and advance relationships with ministries, space agencies, and industry primes
  • Translate interest into long-term partnerships and multi-year contracts
  • Lead strategic sales and partnership development in government and defence sectors
  • Manage key accounts from introduction to closure, including ministries and agencies
  • Drive consortium-based approaches for public tenders and national partnerships
  • Collaborate with the Berlin Representative Office and policy network for strategic engagement
  • Develop and implement processes for long-cycle government sales
  • Map stakeholders and establish follow-up systems
  • Represent constellr at key defence and resilience events globally
  • Provide market insights and pipeline visibility to the CEO and leadership team
  • Collaborate with product and technical teams to shape proposals
  • Ensure delivery readiness for government sales
  • Interface with senior government advisors and international partners
