Requirements
- 4+ years Customer Success, account management or similar experience
- Ideally experience supporting government organizations
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution
- Advanced remote sensing, GIS or geospatial imagery knowledge
- Ability to develop strategic customer plans
- Forward-thinking approach to identify challenges
- Ability to guide conversations toward positive outcomes
- Solid organizational skills for managing multiple customers
- Ability to prioritize tasks and keep projects on track
- Ability to communicate with international customers & sales teams
- Ability to coordinate with international customers & sales teams
- Solid problem solving skills
- Proactive work style
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to translate customer challenges into solutions
- Professional working proficiency in English
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Excellent written communication skills
- Willingness to travel
- Experience with ArcGIS, QGIS, or Google Earth Engine
- Working proficiency in Italian, Greek, or Spanish
- Previous Program/Project Management experience
- Experience with Public Procurement and Tender Processes
Tasks
- Manage and expand relationships with public sector entities
- Support national, regional, and local government entities
- Engage with supranational organizations like space agencies and UN programmes
- Help customers integrate Planet data into workflows
- Ensure effective use of Planet’s imagery and geospatial solutions
- Build strong relationships with government customers
- Achieve customer mission objectives using Planet’s products
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts
- Collaborate with sales teams for renewals and upsells
- Facilitate customer training and onboarding
- Promote best practices for integrating Planet data
- Advocate for feature enhancements based on customer feedback
- Support customer needs with sales, product, and marketing teams
- Contribute to case studies and events
- Share insights on key accounts with internal stakeholders
- Develop strategies for future success
