- B.S. (M.S. preferred) in technical field
- Minimum 5 years Aerospace Program Management experience
- Minimum 5 years proposal experience
- Expertise in system/sub-system integration (HW/FW/SW)
- Working knowledge of aerospace certification requirements
- Working knowledge of aerospace qualification requirements
- Extensive background in Satellite (ESA/Commercial) programs
- Extensive background in UAV programs
- Extensive background in manned aircraft communication programs
- Full "concept-to-launch" lifecycle experience
- Proven ability to manage global suppliers
- Proven ability to manage global partners
- Deep experience implementing PM best practices
- Deliver programs within strict cost constraints
- Deliver programs within strict budget constraints
- Strong track record building relationships with Intelligence Community
- Strong track record building relationships with Department of Defense
- Strong track record building relationships with commercial representatives
- Strong track record building relationships with civil representatives
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to interface with executive leadership
- Translate complex technical details for non-technical stakeholders
Tasks
- Lead program execution from sale closure to delivery
- Ensure contractual requirements, budgets, and milestones are met
- Define program strategy and execution plans
- Integrate risk management, procurement, and staffing needs
- Manage primary customer relationships
- Lead stakeholder meetings to align on requirements and advocacy
- Maintain financial control by overseeing budgets
- Use SAP for order management and financial milestone tracking
- Direct project schedules and deliverables
- Conduct weekly reconciliations and monitor functional progress
- Identify and resolve technical or programmatic risks
- Manage formal change requests and scope adjustments
- Report program status and success criteria to executive leadership
- Present program status and success criteria to customers
