Tasks
- Establish and lead the German IT function
- Define priorities, processes, and governance aligned with European standards
- Serve as the primary IT advisor for local business stakeholders
- Partner with internal and external teams for effective technology deployment
- Drive critical programs and CRM implementation
- Ensure seamless integration and adoption of IT initiatives
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Monitor project execution and proactively escalate risks
- Act as the key liaison between local stakeholders and central European IT teams
- Facilitate collaboration and communication across functions and geographies
- Provide regular updates on project progress and performance metrics
- Support IT budgeting, forecasting, and cost management
- Align IT investments with business priorities
- Onboard and mentor future IT staff
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
- Understand the German business environment in the first 90 days
- Build relationships with stakeholders in the first 90 days
- Familiarize with ERP programs in the first 90 days
- Implement new initiatives in the first 6-12 months
- Establish IT governance, processes, and reporting standards
- Deliver measurable improvements in IT service delivery
- Support strategic projects and stakeholder engagement
