Requirements
- •5+ years of experience in space operations, project management, or strategic planning
- •Experience in the Joint Operation Planning Process (JOPP) or Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP)
- •Knowledge of national security strategy and joint military doctrine
- •Ability to develop and analyze strategic, operational, and campaign plans
- •Secret clearance
- •Bachelor’s degree
- •Experience in the CCMD area of operations
- •Experience with Microsoft Office suite and military-specific planning software such as JOPES
- •Knowledge of Military Design and Planning
- •Ability to present and advocate effectively component command equities at planning conferences and operational planning teams
- •Possession of excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- •Master’s degree in Military Science or International Affairs
- •Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- •Joint Planner Certification
- •Graduate of a Service or Joint Intermediate or Senior level Professional Military Education
- •Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
