Cabin Products Engineer(m/w/x)
Designing, qualifying, and certifying aircraft cabin interiors for Boeing Global Services. Experience with DO-160 environmental requirements essential. 32 vacation days, paid PTO for life events.
Requirements
- Background in electrical, systems, or mechanical aspects of cabin products
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace/Aeronautical
- Experience developing and qualifying new aircraft cabin products
- Recent experience completing qualification of components to Boeing D6 or DO-160 environmental requirements
- Experience developing and testing to component reliability requirements
- Experience in design, analysis, and qualification of electromechanical aircraft cabin products
- Experience with Boeing’s engineering processes and systems
- Experience working with a global team outside of traditional hours
- Prior development of new product from initial concept through introduction and support
- Successful candidates must satisfy Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
Tasks
- Support design, qualification, and certification of interior cabin products
- Identify technical requirements and solutions for projects
- Lead development, qualification, and certification of new cabin products
- Provide technical oversight for cabin product development projects
- Ensure adherence to engineering and drawing requirements
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert for cabin product development
- Participate in design reviews
- Mentor other engineers
- Generate test plans and reports for product qualification
- Collaborate and communicate with multidisciplinary teams
