Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
  • Additional certifications in Business Process Management, Lean, or Operational Excellence
  • Minimum 5+ years in Business Excellence, Operational Excellence, or Target Operating Model design
  • Business process management and organizational transformation
  • Experience in automotive industry OR business excellence within automotive
  • Proven experience harmonizing processes across multiple entities or post-merger environments
  • Experience in manufacturing organizations
  • Strong expertise in Target Operating Model (TOM) design and implementation
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end business processes and cross-functional alignment
  • Experience aligning strategy, organization, processes, and systems (e.g., SAP)
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Ability to align diverse stakeholders and drive organizational buy-in
  • High level of accountability and ownership
  • Ability to think holistically and structurally (big-picture mindset)
  • Ability to navigate organizational complexity and resistance to change
  • English – mandatory (fluent)
  • German – nice to have
  • Readiness for limited travelling (mainly Europe, occasional global exposure)

Tasks

  • Shape and orchestrate the Target Operating Model
  • Ensure alignment between strategy, processes, systems, and structure
  • Act as the architect and integrator of organizational elements
  • Develop and document the end-to-end process landscape
  • Focus on cross-functional collaboration and interface analysis
  • Reduce complexity and identify structural bottlenecks
  • Orchestrate role models, governance structures, and process design
  • Clarify organizational responsibilities
  • Analyze operational improvement opportunities
  • Execute process reviews and efficiency analyses
  • Identify and implement quick-win initiatives
  • Develop guidelines, templates, and standards
  • Ensure consistent and transparent application of process-related topics
  • Prepare and facilitate workshops and decision meetings
