Tasks
- Lead a team of Employee Relations Advisors
- Ensure team adheres to compliance, legal, and labor union requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to meet deliverables and KPI metrics
- Drive continuous quality improvement
- Develop strategies for unified ER services
- Plan and direct activities of in-country ER teams
- Investigate complaints of discrimination, harassment, and policy violations
- Manage leaves of absence, work restrictions, and contract issues
- Handle performance management, disciplinary actions, and terminations
- Ensure fair and consistent application of HR policies
- Conduct quality assurance of investigation outcomes
- Participate in or direct the appeals process
- Maintain knowledge of German and European labor regulations
- Communicate trends affecting HR management
- Engage with local works councils and unions
- Advise on complex collective bargaining processes
- Collaborate with HRCP, Labor Relations, Compliance, and Legal teams
- Provide recommendations on complex performance and policy matters
- Conduct high-level investigations and executive escalations
- Manage team performance, hiring, and development
- Analyze ER trends and recommend remedies
- Operate with high autonomy and manage multiple priorities
