Requirements

  • Master's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Science, or related technical field
  • Experience in technical customer support, application engineering, product development, or OEM project environments (ideally medical or regulated industry)
  • Solid understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and system level application requirements (optics, mechanics, sensors)
  • Clear and confident communication, explaining complex technical matters
  • Structured, solution-oriented work ethic and task ownership
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration and technical interface management
  • Fluency in English and German

Tasks

  • Partner with customers, Sales, Product Management, R&D, and Quality
  • Translate technical requirements into product solutions
  • Drive success for the Medical portfolio
  • Act as primary technical contact for OEM and medical applications
  • Evaluate customer inquiries for feasibility
  • Develop technical solution concepts
  • Create effort estimates for quotations
  • Own technical product specifications
  • Negotiate technical product specifications
  • Coordinate change control processes
  • Lead customer-driven technical projects
  • Support customer-driven technical projects
  • Conduct competitive and technology benchmarking
  • Derive recommendations for the Medical portfolio
  • Manage technical documentation for communication
  • Manage technical documentation for marketing
  • Manage technical documentation for regulatory compliance
  • Manage technical documentation for training
  • Support Quality processes
  • Manage complaint handling
  • Perform root cause analysis
  • Drive continuous improvement measures
