Field Service Engineer(m/w/x)
On-site commissioning, training, and emergency service for scientific instruments at a materials technology firm. Formal Electrical/Electronic qualification and schematic interpretation ability required. Company car, 30 days paid leave, language courses, EGYM access.
Requirements
- Formal Electrical/Electronic qualification
- Substantial relevant experience and training
- Ability to interpret Electrical schematics
- Good PC skills (Word, Excel, PPT)
- PLC experience is of advantage
- Experience in Semi-Conductor industry
- Fluent English and German speaker
- Driving licence
- Be prepared to travel extensively
- Able to work on own initiative
- Clear & concise communicator
- Able to prioritise multiple tasks
Tasks
- Commission equipment and provide training.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns for service work.
- Create visit reports detailing work and issues.
- Authorize system 'buy-off' before shipment.
- Coordinate with technical support on system issues.
- Provide background information to the Sales Team.
- Maintain accurate records of system status and contracts.
- Update project files with significant information.
- Document expenses incurred for the company.
- Report regularly to the EMEA Team Leader.
