Requirements
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Energy Systems, Battery Technology, or related field
- Strong background in electrochemistry, battery systems, or energy storage technologies
- Knowledge of battery modeling, SoC/SoH estimation techniques, and degradation mechanisms
- Experience with AI or machine learning techniques, preferably applied to energy storage, modeling, or control systems
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or similar simulation tools with working experience in Linux systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to process large datasets and derive actionable insights
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment
Tasks
- Contribute to the development of advanced battery algorithms
- Test and validate algorithms focusing on state estimation and degradation modeling
- Support modeling of battery behavior using equivalent circuit models
- Utilize physics-based electrochemical models and grey-box approaches
- Analyze experimental and field data to improve model accuracy
- Implement and simulate algorithms in MATLAB/Simulink or Python
- Validate algorithms in relevant environments
- Prepare technical reports and documentation
- Create presentations to communicate progress and findings
- Collaborate with researchers and engineers to meet project milestones
