Vice President of Operations(m/w/x)

Description

You will build and scale the company's end-to-end operations, transforming early prototypes into high-volume production while leading strategic partnerships and a high-impact team.

Requirements

• •12+ years experience in semiconductor operations, manufacturing, or supply chain
• •Background in fabless semiconductor companies, preferably startup or scale-up
• •Experience taking products from tape-out to volume production
• •Knowledge of wafer fabrication, packaging, test, and yield optimization
• •Track record of building processes and teams
• •Ability to operate with ambiguity and tight timelines
• •Experience scaling a startup through growth or acquisition
• •Exposure to advanced nodes or complex packaging
• •Background in AI, automotive, industrial, or data infrastructure
• •MBA or advanced technical degree

Tasks

• •Scale fabless operations from early silicon to volume production
• •Design operational processes, systems, and growth-oriented KPIs
• •Lead NPI, qualification, and sustaining production across products
• •Manage foundries, OSATs, test partners, and logistics providers
• •Drive production planning, demand forecasting, and capacity management
• •Mitigate supply chain risks and geopolitical exposure
• •Develop alternate sourcing and contingency plans
• •Negotiate senior-level contracts, pricing, and capacity commitments
• •Establish quality, reliability, and failure analysis frameworks
• •Lead yield learning and root cause analysis
• •Collaborate with Engineering on DFM and yield improvement
• •Align customer commitments with operational reality
• •Partner with Finance on cost modeling and margins
• •Build and mentor a lean operations team
• •Foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement
