You will drive the impact of social health protection projects by providing technical expertise, managing research, and building strong partnerships to extend coverage to vulnerable groups.

Requirements

• •Master's degree in economics, public health, social science, or related field
• •Five years of relevant professional experience
• •Experience at the international level
• •Experience implementing health insurance or social protection interventions
• •Experience in analytical work on social protection extension
• •Excellent command of English
• •Desirable working knowledge or fluency in French
• •Knowledge of social health protection theories and trends
• •Ability to use analytical tools and techniques
• •Ability to develop data collection methods
• •Good research and analytical skills
• •Good drafting skills
• •Ability to adapt to new IT software
• •Good communication and presentation skills
• •Ability to maintain collaborative stakeholder relationships
• •Ability to promote technical work areas

Tasks

• •Provide technical inputs on social protection strategies
• •Design scheme architecture and management frameworks
• •Tailor approaches for the informal economy
• •Promote gender equality and inclusive social protection
• •Guide and supervise external collaborators
• •Compile lessons learned and research products
• •Draft and publish evidence-based knowledge products
• •Support capacity building and social dialogue
• •Liaise with project partners to ensure communication
• •Conduct field missions in project countries
• •Support project cycle management and resource mobilization
• •Develop project proposals and liaise with donors
• •Prepare monitoring documents and progress reports
• •Record results in online measurement tools
• •Manage budget execution and project administration
• •Ensure compliance with administrative and financial procedures
