Senior Resource Planning Officer(m/w/x)

Description

You will drive strategic resource management by analyzing complex financial data and advising on budget allocations to ensure global operations are cost-effective and impactful.

Requirements

• •9 years experience with Undergraduate, 8 with Graduate, or 7 with Doctorate
• •Degree in Social Sciences, Law, Mathematics, or other relevant field
• •7 years experience in resource allocation, budgeting, and project management
• •Capacity to analyse complex budget and financial scenarios
• •Excellent computer skills and advanced MS Office knowledge
• •Experience in humanitarian operations
• •Understanding of field programme, resource allocation and fund-raising
• •Experience in business intelligence, data visualization and analysis
• •Experience in R and/or Python
• •Experience in Power BI
• •Resource Management skills
• •Knowledge of UN/UNHCR Budgetary cycle
• •Project and Budget Coordination skills
• •Budget and Financial Management skills
• •Digital analytics and performance reporting skills
• •Programme/Project Management skills
• •Knowledge of English and local UN working language
• •Experience with complex operational, programmatic and financial analysis
• •Strong budget, finance and data analysis skills

Tasks

• •Analyze operational and financial trends
• •Develop projections for strategic activities
• •Serve as Secretariat for the RPMB
• •Advise on available resources and requirements
• •Coordinate policy interpretation and practical application
• •Provide advice on programme budget management
• •Review budget submissions for quality and consistency
• •Draft and disseminate approved board minutes
• •Develop global resource planning tools
• •Prepare documentation for audit queries
• •Support data quality for accurate reporting
• •Lead risk assessments and management strategies
• •Allocate resources for strategic plan treatments
• •Create and analyze large financial data models
