Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related field
- Advanced degree (MSc, PhD) or MBA
- PMP certification or equivalent preferred
- 8+ years in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry
- 3–5 years managing cross-functional projects in global, matrixed environment
- Solid understanding of drug development, manufacturing, and Tech Ops processes
- Track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, meeting quality expectations
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and planning skills
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, ability to influence without authority
- Ability to operate effectively in complex, matrixed organization
- Proficient in project management tools and systems (e.g., Microsoft Project or equivalent)
Tasks
- Lead global, cross-functional Tech Ops projects
- Ensure project delivery within scope, timeline, budget, and quality
- Support cross-functional project plan execution
- Translate project strategy into detailed operational plans
- Drive daily project management activities
- Develop and maintain project documentation
- Control project schedules, resource forecasts, budgets, and risk registers
- Monitor project performance against plan
- Implement corrective actions proactively
- Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies
- Escalate critical topics timely and structured
- Maintain project information in management systems
- Ensure transparency and traceability of decisions, actions, and changes
- Analyze critical path and evaluate scenarios
- Challenge assumptions to enhance project robustness
- Prepare concise project updates and reports
- Coordinate cross-functional alignment
- Ensure effective stakeholder communication
- Support project management practice improvement
- Share knowledge with less experienced project managers
