Requirements
- Postgraduate degree (PhD preferred) in Life Sciences, Engineering, or related discipline
- 12+ years in biopharmaceutical development, manufacturing, or Tech Transfer
- Leadership of complex global Tech Transfer programs
- Understanding of technology transfer, scale-up, process validation, regulatory requirements
- Leadership of large, cross-functional, matrixed organizations
- Track record in external partner management and manufacturing network collaboration
- Strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
- Experience in global, multicultural environments
Tasks
- Define and execute global Tech Transfer strategy
- Ensure robust, compliant, and scalable technology transfer
- Drive strategic technology transfer initiatives
- Provide leadership for complex global transfer programs
- Align transfer execution with portfolio priorities and regulatory requirements
- Establish standardized frameworks and best practices
- Provide strategic input to manufacturing footprint and capacity planning
- Own end-to-end accountability for global Tech Transfer execution
- Oversee transfer strategies, risk assessments, and comparability approaches
- Ensure complete and effective knowledge transfer and documentation
- Provide senior technical oversight for process robustness and scalability
- Integrate QbD principles and control strategies into transfer execution
- Lead resolution of complex technical challenges
- Identify, select, and oversee CMOs, CROs, and external partners
- Conduct technical due diligence and capability assessments
- Ensure external partner performance meets standards
- Facilitate collaboration across Process Development, Manufacturing, MS&T, QC, QA, and Engineering
- Align development, clinical, and commercial organizations on transfer readiness
- Facilitate structured communication across global stakeholders
- Define and monitor Tech Transfer KPIs
- Drive structured resolution of transfer risks and performance gaps
- Implement performance oversight and continuous improvement initiatives
