Requirements
- •3–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech manufacturing safety
- •Relevant EHS permits for an OSD manufacturing facility
- •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field
- •Fluency in French and English, written and spoken
- •Very good written and oral presentation and communication skills
- •Strong leadership, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
- •Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive continuous improvement
- •Technical expertise in EHS program management, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance
- •Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
- •Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
- •Excellent skills to influence stakeholders across functions and hierarchical levels
- •Exceptional problem-solving ability
- •Ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Office Suite
- •Knowledge of EHS regulatory requirements and risk management tools
- •Ability to physically travel to visit customers, patients, or business partners

- •Provide EHS expertise and foresight
- •Ensure EHS compliance for the Process Unit
- •Align with global EHS policies and site standards
- •Collaborate with site EHS and functional teams
- •Lead and improve PU-related EHS programs
- •Champion specific EHS programs like LOTO
- •Implement FSAP to meet EHS standards
- •Lead EHS operational discussions and self-assessments
- •Resolve PU EHS-related issues and escalate as needed
- •Facilitate knowledge sharing for EHS best practices
- •Handle PU EHS inquiries and build relationships
- •Identify and address unplanned events like spills
- •Participate as a member of the emergency team
- •Conduct regular safety EHS walkthroughs
- •Lead pre-job briefs and post-job discussions
- •Promote a zero-risk culture in the PU
- •Manage EHS platforms and information systems
- •Create and maintain PU EHS reports
- •Evaluate PU EHS metrics and perform gap analysis
- •Maintain regulatory preparedness for audits and inspections
- •Conduct PU safety inspections and communicate findings
- •Own PU EHS CAPA plans with stakeholders
- •Coordinate PU-related EHS trainings and events
- •Coach and mentor EHS PU champions
- •Process PU EHS-related purchase requisitions and invoices
- •Manage PU contractor safety and training
- •Lead safety-related projects and implement innovations
- •Implement continuous improvement methodologies like Six Sigma
