Requirements

• BFA or BSID in Industrial Design
• 5+ years industrial design experience
• Understanding of manufacturing processes
• Ability to guide cross-functional teams
• Fluency in design software and prototyping

• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Flexibility to adapt to changing scopes
• Customer empathy and design research experience

• Sketching, ideation, and presentation skills

• Experience leading design through production
• ID modeling and prototyping skills
• 3+ years bicycle industry experience
• Passion for cycling or action sports
• Experience integrating electronic systems
• Experience working with outside vendors

Tasks

• Lead industrial design for Active-category bikes and components
• Manage design from early concept through production
• Focus on simplicity, approachability, and rider confidence
• Translate rider insights into functional, real-world solutions
• Develop concepts through sketching and 3D modeling
• Refine designs through prototyping and iterative testing
• Create intuitive and welcoming product designs
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing partners
• Deliver beautiful and durable products for everyday use
• Mentor designers and foster a culture of curiosity
• Communicate design intent through storytelling and visualization
• Present design concepts to cross-functional teams and leadership
• Identify opportunities in urban mobility and lifestyle riding
