Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, or life sciences
  • Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) strongly preferred
  • 7+ years in biotech/pharma with rare disease experience
  • Progressive responsibility in strategic marketing roles
  • Demonstrated pre- and post-launch marketing experience
  • Strong track record of brand building and campaign execution
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Skilled at developing brand strategies and customer engagement models
  • Strong communicator able to translate complex science
  • Capable of managing multiple high-priority projects
  • Experienced in working within matrixed global organizations
  • Flexible, pragmatic, and solutions-oriented
  • Deep working knowledge of promotional regulations and compliance
  • Global mindset with cultural agility

Tasks

  • Lead the development of the international marketing and communications strategy
  • Drive brand planning, positioning, and campaign development
  • Build a comprehensive digital ecosystem for brand engagement
  • Oversee implementation of international marketing plans
  • Support local teams in localizing brand plans and marketing operations
  • Lead international congress activities and booth execution
  • Cultivate relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and patient organizations
  • Partner with Market Access to integrate brand value messaging
  • Generate advocacy and stakeholder engagement plans for new products
  • Map the patient journey and identify inflection points for strategies
  • Partner with Medical Affairs to identify educational needs and evidence gaps
  • Manage marketing budgets and resources effectively
  • Monitor execution for compliance and value delivery
