Requirements
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Data Science, or related technical field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting data annotation, standardization, or validation in digital health, clinical research, or related settings, or advanced degree with 3 years of equivalent work experience
- Familiarity with structured data models, metadata standards, and annotation tooling
- Capacity for independent thinking and decision-making based on sound principles
- Excellent strategic agility including problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Respect for cultural differences in global workplace interactions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, specifically in presentation and writing
- Experience working with regulatory-aligned digital data or platforms
- Exposure to annotation workflows, data quality assurance, or ML-based validation methods
- Experience contributing to technical documentation and structured metadata libraries
- Familiarity with collaboration across cross-functional and global teams
Tasks
- Develop structured annotation workflows for digital health modalities
- Implement data readiness workflows for wearables and imaging
- Create and refine validation frameworks for new data sources
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers on data standards
- Embed quality checks into digital health solutions
- Apply FAIR data principles to ensure digital assets are traceable
- Monitor performance of annotation tools for efficiency and accuracy
