Tasks
- Lead design and construction of cutting-edge civil engineering projects
- Manage high-value contracts and small teams of skilled engineers
- Collaborate across disciplines to deliver innovative solutions
- Contribute to the Future Circular Collider (FCC) project
- Handle preliminary design and planning of complex civil engineering works
- Define requirements and develop technical solutions for FCC infrastructure
- Lead internal CERN stakeholders on contractual framework
- Prepare technical and contractual documentation for major contracts
- Manage CERN personnel contributing to FCC civil engineering
- Coordinate with CERN stakeholders to achieve civil engineering milestones
- Prepare and oversee detailed cost estimates and schedules
- Report on FCC civil engineering to high management and external stakeholders
