Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in low voltage distribution network design
  • Experience in short circuit calculations
  • Experience in selectivity studies
  • Experience in lighting system design using DIALux (beneficial)
  • Experience in secondary design with E-PLAN (beneficial)
  • Experience in medium voltage distribution network design (beneficial)
  • Knowledge of LV standards, protection, earthing systems
  • Good understanding of power systems
  • Experience with low voltage design calculation tools
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar
  • Spoken and written English
  • Commitment to learn French
  • Professional background in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • No prior CERN fellow or graduate contract
  • Work in Radiation Areas
  • Interventions in underground installations
  • Valid driving licence
