Tasks

  • Oversee mechanical design of detector systems
  • Collaborate with worldwide institutes on deliverables
  • Manage mechanical interfaces between detector and infrastructure
  • Supervise production of 3D integration models
  • Ensure proper consideration of relevant envelopes
  • Develop transport and installation sequence
  • Design installation tooling and interfaces
  • Coordinate production of mechanical components
  • Ensure timely delivery of mechanical components
  • Facilitate smooth assembly planning
  • Participate in detector assembly in clean room
  • Supervise installation of service infrastructure
  • Ensure infrastructure meets detector commissioning needs
  • Supervise detector installation in Experimental Cavern
