Requirements
- •Valid permit for Geneva or France
- •Advanced degree in security or engineering
- •Swiss Fire protection standards qualification
- •Security Certification Programme (SCP) qualification
- •Seven years experience in security management
- •Leadership experience in safety operations
- •Experience in fire safety contingency plans
- •Experience in UN Security Management System
- •Excellent English or French command
- •Good knowledge of English or French
- •Knowledge of security risk management methodology
- •Knowledge of physical security systems
- •Ability to communicate complex technical subjects
- •Knowledge of Swiss fire safety standards
- •Knowledge of UN Security system policies
- •Excellent knowledge of financial rules
- •Knowledge of office administrative procedures
- •Ability to research and interpret guidelines
- •Decision making and problem-solving skills
- •Excellent drafting skills
- •Good communication and presentation skills
- •Negotiation skills
- •Computer applications skills
- •Organisational and management skills
- •Ability to monitor and evaluate activities

- •Implement procedures for the new security perimeter
- •Conduct risk assessments for major events
- •Collaborate with host country authorities and UNOG
- •Prepare security measures and contingency plans
- •Guide staff for the 2026 security pavilion opening
- •Assess and adapt security equipment needs
- •Oversee testing and maintenance of security installations
- •Report on access control and security incidents
- •Analyze statistics to recommend safety improvements
- •Support management on safety and security matters
- •Serve as security focal point for high-level meetings
