Requirements

- Demonstrated product, project, or category ownership
- Technical understanding of functional outdoor products
- Affinity for and experience in product communication
- Team player with strong organization skills
- Passion for mountain and outdoor sports
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking
- Ownership mindset and accountability
- Results-driven with clear commercial focus
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Fluent English (written & spoken)
- Good MS-Office Skills
- Experience with PLM, iPIM and other product management systems desirable
Tasks
- Drive development and commercial success of backpacks, sleeping bags, and hardware accessories
- Define and execute assortment strategy and market positioning
- Collaborate cross-functionally with development, design, marketing, and sales
- Lead product conception and business case creation
- Conduct deep market, consumer, and competitor analysis
- Manage product development process, ensuring timelines, cost targets, and quality standards
- Oversee product communication and packaging with marketing and external partners
- Provide product training and presentations at sales meetings
- Develop market activation concepts
- Achieve seasonal collection targets for revenue, margin, quality, and performance
- Own and improve product testing strategy, including sample management
- Maintain and grow a network of testers and athletes
- Ensure high data quality and consistency in PLM and iPIM systems
- Identify innovation and category growth opportunities
- Drive continuous improvement of the product portfolio
