- Create process scalability roadmaps for throughput and multi-site deployment
- Provide DfM feedback for optical component design and manufacturability
- Define the end-to-end automation concept as Automation Architect
- Specify requirements for optical alignment and active or passive attach
- Set requirements for calibration and verification automation
- Interface with tool vendors to deploy high-tolerance solutions
- Manage automation roadmaps and deployment timing for NPI
- Ensure MLA manufacturing readiness through EVT, DVT, and PVT
- Define tool and process qualification plans for volume release
- Transfer processes and full documentation to contract manufacturers
- Support ramp-up, yield learning, and process stabilization
- Define optical metrology, calibration, and verification standards
- Analyze root causes for optical performance yield and defects
- Maintain process capability targets and control plans
