Requirements
- PhD in cellular biology, stem cell biology, tissue bioengineering, or relevant field

- Experience in design and execution of projects modeling airway relevant biology in vitro
- Methods for phenotyping complex tissues using tissue clearing, imaging, single cell technologies, flow cytometry, and microscopy
- Strong critical thinking, communication, organization, and presentation skills
Tasks
- Design and execute projects modeling airway-relevant biology
- Utilize in vitro methods for studying COPD, infectious diseases, and inflammation
- Phenotype complex tissues using tissue clearing techniques
- Conduct whole-mount imaging and single-cell technologies
- Perform flow cytometry and high-resolution microscopy
- Expand expertise in human airway models and related biology
- Leverage Roche R&D ecosystem for hypothesis generation and model evaluation
- Convert organoid-based models into assays for drug development
