People Operations Coordinator(m/w/x)
Supporting German entity employees and managers with HR processes in Workday and Jira. Ownership and problem-solving skills required. Hybrid work, 30 days work from anywhere.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (field flexible)
- Ownership and problem-solving skills
- Clear communication skills
- Curiosity and fast learning ability
- First experience in company environment (internship, working student, entry-level)
- Support HR Ops / People Services or operational service teams (bonus)
- Active use of AI tools (e.g., AI assistants)
- Use of automation/workflow tools (no-code/low-code, scripting)
- Redesign workflows and remove manual steps
- Improve speed and quality with concrete outcomes
- Process mapping and root cause analysis
- Prototyping improvements and iterating based on feedback/data
- Working with operational systems
- Maintaining high data quality
- Exposure to Workday or another HRIS (ideally)
- Exposure to Jira Service Management or similar ticketing (ideally)
- Exposure to Google Workspace (ideally)
- Excellent English (written and spoken)
- German and/or additional languages (a plus)
Tasks
- Serve as primary contact for German entity employees, managers, and stakeholders
- Provide accurate, efficient, and compliant People Ops support
- Maintain People records in Workday
- Manage requests through Jira Service Management
- Champion AI and automation in People Operations
- Identify and test AI and automation opportunities
- Implement workflow automation and conversational AI
- Reduce repetitive work and speed up resolution times
- Surface insights to proactively serve employees
- Partner with Payroll, People Partners, People Relations, and People Systems
- Resolve requests efficiently and improve handoffs
- Deliver consistent employee experience aligned with global model
- Promote AI-enabled collaboration across functions
Education
- Bachelor's degree
