- MSc or PhD in Polymer Science or related scientific field
- Solid experience in R&D, operations, or technical roles
- Understanding of PET and recycled plastics
- Project, budget, and cross-functional priority management
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong written and verbal communication, including presentations
- Collaborative mindset with interpersonal and networking abilities
- Fluency in English; additional languages advantageous
Tasks
- Lead and support R&D projects on recycled PET and polyolefin materials
- Propose new packaging materials, recycling technologies, and food safety tests
- Manage project documentation, timelines, and deliverables
- Provide technical expertise on rPET implementation to R&D, operations, and markets
- Coordinate with food safety, material science, and packaging specialists
- Offer technical assistance during industrialisation and product launches
- Build and document scientific knowledge through studies and trials
- Engage with suppliers, research institutes, and universities
- Ensure packaging food safety and regulatory compliance
- Validate recycled PET processes
- Contribute to knowledge building in packaging material science
- Guide R&D, operations, and markets with scientific and technical insights
- Investigate food safety aspects of recycled polyolefins
Work Experience

- Master's degree
