Requirements

  • MSc or PhD in Polymer Science or related scientific field
  • Solid experience in R&D, operations, or technical roles
  • Understanding of PET and recycled plastics
  • Project, budget, and cross-functional priority management
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication, including presentations
  • Collaborative mindset with interpersonal and networking abilities
  • Fluency in English; additional languages advantageous

Tasks

  • Lead and support R&D projects on recycled PET and polyolefin materials
  • Propose new packaging materials, recycling technologies, and food safety tests
  • Manage project documentation, timelines, and deliverables
  • Provide technical expertise on rPET implementation to R&D, operations, and markets
  • Coordinate with food safety, material science, and packaging specialists
  • Offer technical assistance during industrialisation and product launches
  • Build and document scientific knowledge through studies and trials
  • Engage with suppliers, research institutes, and universities
  • Ensure packaging food safety and regulatory compliance
  • Validate recycled PET processes
  • Contribute to knowledge building in packaging material science
  • Guide R&D, operations, and markets with scientific and technical insights
  • Investigate food safety aspects of recycled polyolefins
