As a Medicinal Drug Design Lead, you will play a crucial role in driving drug discovery by leveraging your expertise in medicinal chemistry. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing resources, and preparing scientific proposals, all while contributing to a culture of innovation and growth.

Requirements

• •PhD in Medicinal Chemistry, Synthetic Organic Chemistry, or related technical field, or equivalent industrial experience
• •5+ years’ professional experience in a Medicinal Chemistry role
• •Proven track record of leading medicinal chemistry efforts on drug discovery projects
• •Experience of contributing to structure-based drug design problems
• •Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
• •Experience of working with and closely managing CRO resources
• •Strong track record of scientific achievements
• •Genuine passion for drug discovery and enthusiasm for AI/ML
• •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• •Track record of creative problem solving with a strong growth mindset
• •Experience of successful application of fragment-based drug design approaches
