Requirements
- Degree or equivalent SCM/Procurement experience
- Minimum 5 years as Material Requirement Planner
- CPIM certification required
- SCM, Materials Planning/Scheduling, Purchasing experience
- Good SAP MM and MS Office knowledge
- Good communication and presentation skills
- German or English fluency required
- Strong teammate, cross-functional collaboration
Tasks
- Maintain and improve customer supplier material supply
- Complete material requirements plans for timely material availability
- Communicate plans to relevant stakeholders for execution
- Liaise with functions for timely material plan updates
- Support inventory plans and optimization initiatives
- Convert planned orders into material plans (Purchase Requisition, BANF)
- Create and manage material planned requirements
- Liaise with Material Project Leads for up-to-date material plans
- Create and maintain material planning parameters in systems
- Convert material requirements plan into Purchase Orders
- Expedite material availability with procurement and inbound teams
- Create and manage material KPIs for availability understanding
- Execute material availability actions to manage inventory and reduce waste
- Develop safety stock and inventory plans with stakeholders
- Cooperate with Operational Buyers on supplier questions
- Track and report on-time material availability
- Facilitate on-time material availability and drive escalations
- Test and ensure accountability with material releases for production
