- Experience building satellites or complex assemblies
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Excellent SolidWorks skills
- Hardware assembly and integration experience
- Attention to detail and technical writing
- Experience implementing continuous improvement processes
- Experience with MES and PLM software
- Ability to access export-controlled information
Tasks
- Support satellite and subsystem assembly, integration, and testing
- Develop and document assembly procedures and work instructions
- Design mechanical and electrical assembly and test fixtures
- Resolve non-conformances and implement actionable process improvements
- Recommend facility and capital equipment improvements for scaling
- Train production technicians to transition from R&D to production
- Provide DFM and DFA recommendations to design teams
- Monitor production metrics and identify areas for improvement
- Implement corrective actions based on production data
- Collaborate with design and test engineers for seamless delivery
- Establish processes for component-level through final spacecraft integration
