Lead Systems Engineer - LO Emission Control & RF Interoperability(m/w/x)

Requirements
- Degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Experience in RF/EMC co-site interoperability on airborne platforms
- Hands-on experience with multi-sensor RF integration
- Ability to run interference/desense/intermod analyses
- Experience executing EMC/EMI and OTA test campaigns
- Understanding of antenna placement and coupling trade-offs
- Low-observability and signature-management mindset
- Fluency in requirements, ICDs, and verification processes
- Ability to lead cross-functional technical closure with suppliers
Tasks
- Design emission control for airborne and ground systems
- Manage RF interoperability across all airborne payloads
- Execute EMC and EMI co-site assessments
- Define frequency plans and EMCON profiles
- Lead signature-aware EW design for sensors
- Establish LPI and LPD operational concepts
- Drive interface control between sensors and communications
- Develop integration concepts for antenna placement
- Conduct system-level trade studies
- Create integration and verification test plans
- Ensure system resilience under contested EW conditions
- Coordinate RF designs with LO and structures teams
- Assess and reduce unintentional system emissions
- Define requirements for signature-aware operations
- Perform requirements traceability to subsystem specifications
- Lead cross-functional resolution of RF anomalies
- Manage technical exchanges with suppliers and customers
