Junior Instructional Designer(m/w/x)
Developing digital learning solutions for a particle physics research facility, with e-learning tool and LMS support. Basic instructional design knowledge and initial digital learning exposure required. 30 days paid leave, CERN Pension Fund membership, family allowances.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning concepts
- Initial exposure to digital learning formats, e-learning tools, or training/communication materials
- Interest in learning technologies, digital platforms, and user experience
- Willingness to learn new tools and systems
- Familiarity with LMS, authoring tools, multimedia/video tools, or human capital management systems
- Interest in learning analytics, evaluation methods, or reporting
- Ability to analyze information, structure content, and present ideas
- Good analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Familiarity with digital tools and platforms (LMS, MS Office, e-learning tools)
- Ability to learn new tools quickly
- Ability to troubleshoot/resolve basic technical issues
- Spoken and written English or French
- Commitment to learn basics of other language
- National of CERN Member or Associate Member State
- Maximum two years professional experience since graduation
- Highest educational qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree
- No prior CERN fellow or graduate contract
- Ineligibility for applicants without University degree
- Ineligibility for applicants with a PhD
