Requirements

  • 5 years experience as HR Manager, Executive, Generalist, or Business Partner
  • Bachelor degree in HR or Master's degree
  • 2 years experience in international or unstable environments
  • Strong motivation for humanitarian work
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Experience managing complex teams and driving transformation
  • Adaptability to fast-changing environments and tasks
  • Ability to build strong stakeholder partnerships
  • In-depth knowledge of HR practices and systems
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR administration
  • Competence in managing interpersonal relationships
  • Ability to lead and develop HR staff
  • Experience in humanitarian or development organizations
  • Experience operating in a matrix organization
  • Mandatory fluency in English and French
  • Proficiency in Spanish, Arabic, or Russian
  • Non-national status of the assigned country
  • Good health and cleared medical check-up
  • Driving license for manual transmission vehicles
  • Willingness to accept unaccompanied field postings

  • Implement global and regional HR initiatives
  • Build people management capacity in managers
  • Promote employee engagement and relations
  • Ensure compliant and high-quality HR services
  • Oversee payroll validation and legal compliance
  • Drive continuous improvement of HR processes
  • Lead Learning and Development initiatives
  • Coach managers on performance and teamwork
  • Embed wellbeing and DEI priorities
  • Manage the full employee life cycle
  • Lead and mentor the HR department team
