Requirements
- •Bachelor’s degree or training in mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering
- •Professional HSE certification based on Swiss legislation
- •Minimum 7 years of experience in HSE roles within a process manufacturing environment
- •Proven ability to draft HSE technical documentation
- •Solid knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards
- •Strong organizational and communication skills
- •Self-driven, proactive, and collaborative mindset
- •Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
- •Fluency in English and German (written and spoken)

Tasks
- •Ensure compliance with Swiss occupational safety, health, and environmental regulations
- •Implement Hitachi Energy policies and standards for the Wettingen operating unit
- •Support and consult all hierarchical levels on occupational safety, health, and environmental management
- •Conduct opportunity and risk analyses with stakeholders
- •Promote quality and safety culture through employee engagement programs
- •Conduct training at all hierarchy levels following the Wettingen HSE competence matrix
- •Investigate accidents and communicate findings to prevent future incidents
- •Plan and conduct internal and external audits for ISO 9001/45001 compliance
- •Prepare and implement the yearly site HSE plan and related documentation
- •Produce reports for project reviews and attend meetings to ensure HSE system effectiveness
- •Review HSE documentation from subcontractors and support them in meeting HSE requirements
