Requirements
- Vocational education EFZ and EHS education
- Higher technical education HF, FH, or equivalent
- Advantageous recognized Swiss safety qualifications
- Sicherheitsfachmann / Sicherheitsfachfrau EKAS
- ASGS training
- SUVA recognized EHS certificates
- Advantageous elevator, construction, or field experience
- Experience in Swiss EHS or operations
- Knowledge of Swiss EHS legislation
- Interpersonal, coaching, and influence skills
- Experience in field or service environments
- Independent work and region management
- Excellent German and English skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Frequent and systematic field presence
Tasks
- Promote EH&S importance in Swiss German-speaking regions
- Support local installation and service teams
- Promote a strong Otis Safety Culture
- Maintain a presence in field operations
- Implement environmental, health, and safety programs
- Align programs with Swiss legislation and global standards
- Conduct regular field audits and site inspections
- Perform toolbox engagements and safety observations
- Coach staff on safe working practices
- Advise on incident prevention and compliance
- Act as primary EHS contact for Swiss German regions
- Integrate EHS ownership at branch and project levels
- Align with Otis EMEA corporate processes
- Support continuous improvement and risk assessments
- Identify training needs and local compliance initiatives
- Prepare analytics for leading and lagging indicators
- Report on incidents, audits, and corrective actions
- Coordinate hazardous materials and waste disposal procedures
- Manage environmental requirements according to Swiss law
- Support incident investigations and root-cause analysis
- Close corrective and preventive actions
- Maintain accurate EHS and legal documentation
- Ensure compliance with Otis processes
