Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or financial accounting
  • Master's degree or similar education in Human Resources (asset)
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a compensation focused role
  • Experience in consulting/advisory, finance, or corporate strategy
  • Experience in preparation of Compensation Report and AGM materials
  • Good understanding of HR practices and Swiss payroll
  • Leadership experience (asset)
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel (macros, vlookups, pivot tables, charts), and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication and writing skills in English
  • Any other language (benefit)
  • Analytical skills, superior attention to detail and accuracy
  • Well-organized and structured
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Tasks

  • Assist in developing and implementing compensation programs
  • Support the administration of annual bonus and long-term incentive plans
  • Align compensation decisions with Basilea’s compensation philosophy
  • Participate in personnel budgeting and annual salary increase processes
  • Support annual bonus allocation and performance management processes
  • Prepare and submit data for third-party compensation surveys
  • Benchmark Basilea’s competitive position using survey results
  • Manage regular and ad-hoc data reporting in collaboration with Finance
  • Report on internal and external compensation budgets and cost accruals
  • Provide HR data analysis support for corporate planning
  • Create PowerPoint presentations for decision-making processes
  • Prepare materials for the Board’s Compensation Committee meetings
  • Compile the annual Compensation Report and related disclosures
  • Collaborate on data visualization and compliant compensation budgets
  • Lead the payroll and project team
