Head of Indirect Procurement NCE(m/w/x)

Description

In this role, you will drive the procurement process for CAPEX and indirect goods, focusing on cost savings and supplier relationships. Your efforts will enhance operational efficiency and support growth strategies through strategic sourcing and collaboration.

Requirements

• •5+ years of procurement leadership
• •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• •Master’s degree or equivalent level of experience
• •Fluency in German and English
• •Analytical approach with cost savings and efficiency improvements
• •Experience leading mid-size teams in distributed locations

Tasks

• •Lead the end-to-end procurement process for CAPEX and indirect goods and services
• •Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships
• •Reduce total cost of ownership through effective negotiation and strategic sourcing
• •Develop and maintain positive supplier relationships for compliance and performance
• •Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement with business objectives
• •Lead the indirect procurement team at Visp and oversee teams at other sites
• •Promote team development to achieve financial targets like NWC optimization and cost reductions
• •Encourage innovation and continuous improvement in procurement processes
• •Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
• •Supervise supplier performance and resolve issues to ensure business continuity
