- Drive sustainability initiatives
- Provide solutions for sustainability targets
- Manage technical matters involving ship handling
- Oversee P&I and marine insurance relationships
- Negotiate annual insurance premiums
- Manage towage, agencies, and supplier contracts
- Support litigation defense and initiation
- Stay updated on international shipping regulations
