Requirements

  • •Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree
  • •Prior Bachelor’s degree
  • •Extensive experience providing legal counsel in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
  • •Comprehensive knowledge of legal issues in pharma/biotech sector
  • •Demonstrated people leadership in managing and developing teams
  • •Exceptional negotiation and conflict management abilities
  • •Fluency in written and spoken English

Tasks

  • •Lead a team of lawyers providing strategic legal counsel
  • •Oversee business-related legal matters for the Therapeutic Area
  • •Manage legal issues in collaboration with Legal Centers of Excellence
  • •Advise on TA strategies, brand plans, and medical activities
  • •Participate in business leadership meetings and governance boards
  • •Identify and manage potential legal and compliance risks
  • •Ensure compliance with government regulations and mandates
  • •Draft and negotiate complex research and commercial contracts
  • •Support evaluation and due diligence for business development and M&A
  • •Advise on legal issues for third-party relationships
  • •Collaborate on the review of promotional materials and medical resources
  • •Provide proactive legal counsel on potential risks
  • •Lead brand strategy and claims management across markets
  • •Drive innovation and contribute to new strategies for product launches
  • •Promote collaboration and information exchange across legal functions
  • •Attract and develop top legal talent within the team
