Tasks
- •Lead a team to create and update the Enterprise portfolio strategy for the Therapeutic Area (TA)
- •Build and maintain in-depth knowledge of the TA, including disease models and peer company assessments
- •Educate and provide external insights to internal stakeholders
- •Support the identification of growth opportunities and rejection of low-value projects
- •Assist Group Investor Relations and the CEO Office with strategic insights dissemination
- •Collect and synthesize scientific and commercial insights for the TA
- •Create and maintain the TA portfolio strategy, including disease area and molecule selection
- •Identify potential pipeline gaps and recommend solutions
- •Facilitate portfolio decision-making and prioritization with the Therapeutic Area Leadership team
- •Oversee assessments of program fit to current portfolio strategy
- •Provide commercial and development inputs for business cases of internal and external assets
- •Offer independent assessments of internal pipeline assumptions
- •Lead the evaluation of external opportunities, including forecast assumptions and business cases
- •Coach and develop top talent in collaboration with P&O leadership
- •Manage the TA strategy financial budget, forecasting resource needs and accounting for expenses
