Tasks

  • Partner with Business Unit Head to drive sustainable growth
  • Shape strategic priorities and support robust launch and pipeline agenda
  • Lead strategy development and decision-making with financial insights
  • Set financial direction for German Oncology
  • Manage end-to-end financial decision-making with P&L impact
  • Provide strategic financial input to senior stakeholders and commercial teams
  • Challenge and influence decision-making as a business partner
  • Forecast sales and manage SG&A for profitability
  • Account for Oncology BU P&L and headcount
  • Lead cross-functional monthly performance reviews
  • Perform variance analysis of business unit results
  • Identify performance gaps and propose corrective actions
  • Conduct strategic portfolio and brand analysis
  • Support brand planning and business decisions
  • Drive annual budget setting process
  • Identify risks and opportunities for resource allocation
  • Support commercial team in budget tracking and optimization
  • Propose action and mitigation plans for business problems
  • Own Oncology investment choices and resource trade-offs
  • Deliver monthly DRM, annual plans, and soft-landing estimates
  • Support launch forecasts for pipeline opportunities
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial analysis at month-end
  • Partner with Market Access for pricing approval governance
  • Recommend pricing decisions and challenge through sensitivity analysis
  • Understand market dynamics and future trends
  • Support financial decision-making in regulated German payer environment
  • Model investment and growth opportunities using ROI
  • Lead scenario planning to maximize resource use
  • Deliver margin enhancement initiatives through cost control
  • Conduct ad hoc financial and business modelling
  • Act as finance point of contact for external strategic partners
  • Optimize promotional investments using MMM insights
  • Utilize Genie and advanced analytics for forecasting and performance analysis
  • Embed data-driven decision-making in brand planning and strategic discussions
  • Drive adoption of digital tools in Oncology and Europe Finance
  • Promote automation and AI-powered insights to enhance decision quality
